Look for "Boone" and "Doc" way up the hill.
Roan Highlands were great fun. Wind at top was 65-75 MPH.
Last photo is "Boone", "Hawkeye", and "Doc"....at the top of a bald on the Roan Highlands.
I met "Boone" & "Doc" at Springer Mountain on day two for me....day one for them. They are much faster than me, but I run into them all the time....... because they hike for awhile, and then they play for awhile.
"Boone" and "Doc" are already AT legends.....more on them later.
