Half Way
Crossed the halfway point today. Ate a half gallon of ice cream..... completing the "half gallon challenge"......and immediately ordered two cheeseburgers! Had some laughs. Talked to three women hikers yesterday, and again today...... sisters ages 80, and 71, with a daughter age 50.... had more laughs. They are attempting to hike the whole trail, by section hiking, part of it every year. Got my first injury.....not counting my toenail that fell off.....pulled a muscle in my lower back...... while lying in my tent..... talking on the phone. Bummer. It's all downhill.........and uphill from here.
